Problems with T Mobile Pulse

First of all, sorry to post this thread in English, my Dutch language skills are still rather limited. But do hope to get some help here.

I am currently using the T Mobile Pulse NL version. But I have encountered a few problems:

1, the phone slows down the more apps I download. I am not sure if it's a general problem with Android headsets, coz this is my first experience with Android OS.
(for example, I am using certain apps and if I want to jump back to the home screen, it takes quite a while, say a few to 10 seconds to load all the Widgets and icons on my home screen again. I also encountered problems with the music player widget, which the song I am listening to constantly start playing again and pause and start all over again, that forced me to restart the whole phone...)

2, this is even worse, when I am using 3G network without data service enabled, my phone lost signal whenever it goes to sleep. It happened already a few times, sometimes once a day. The phone fails to catch back the signal even if I undo the screen lock, so once again, I have to restart the whole phone...

I am not sure if anyone using the T Mobile Pulse in Nederland is encountering the same problems...
having that said, the phone is not bad with a huge screen and the touch is rather responsive. given it's budget price, it comes with adequate accessories, including the very handy pouch to protect the phone.

Hi Kit,

I'm a newbie myself but maybe I can help.

1a. The phone stores applications on its internal memory. When memory decreases, the phone slows down. I solved this by rooting my pulse and using app2sd with a properly formatted sd card. The taskkiller app also helps!
1b: Had the same problem with the stopping and starting when using the headphones. I think they don't connect properly and when connection fails the music stops. Haven't solved this yet.

2. Haven't experienced this, but I always use 3G with data service. Maybe you can switch to the 2g network?

Yeah the taskkiller does the job for you, but do not forget that you dont want to close everything. (Widgets)
