· Improved recognition of words when using the capitalization gesture and the second letter is very close the exit-point of the capitalization gesture, e.g. "Well"
· Fixed a rare crash when returning from the Language Selector in Settings
· Launching voice recognition now draws a UI inside the Swype process instead of launching a new activity
· When Android 2.3.3 is detected, double-tap-to-edit is disabled to prevent conflict with Google's double-tap behavior
· Decreased the likelihood that a new license will be required after a system update
· Fixed a bug where a failure of the system to properly return build properties was crashing Swype
· Extended the beta license from 100 days to 120 days after compile
· Minor compatibility updates for Android 2.3
· Fixed various crashes

Op Usenet (en SpotNet) heb ik laatst al versie 2.29.71.20203 geüpload voor een aantal resoluties:

Hier weer de nieuwste Swype voor de liefhebbers. De oude versie werkte ook niet meer.
Dit keer heb ik alle resoluties ingepakt in 1 pakketje. Dat wel zeggen:
HVGA
WVGA (Nexus One, Desire, Galaxy S etc)
WVGA854 (voor de X10 o.a.)

De poster heeft van HVGA en WVGA854 niet het originele thema bijgevoegd, maar een aangepaste. Zie screenshot voor hoe dat er uit ziet. Ik vind het zelf een stuk mooier. Bij WVGA heb ik beide thema's bijgevoegd.

Je moet root rechten hebben om de oude te verwijderen, als je dat niet hebt moet je stoppen met lezen.
Verwijder de volgende bestanden:
/system/app/Swype.apk
/system/lib/libSwype.so

Hierna kan je deze versie gewoon installeren!

Is er ook de standaard Swype van samsung (met de samsung interface dus) beschikbaar, ik kan die echt nergens vinden!!

DIe kan je als je die per se wilt toch gewoon slopen uit standaard ROM als JPU ofzo (en dan dus de 2 bestadnen die je anders moet verwijderen over kopieren)

Ik heb een vraagje over Swype. Kun je op één of andere manier de keyboard minimaliseren? De stock keyboard heeft daar een toets voor, maar bij de Swype vind ik niks Ook geen handeling laat dat ding verdwijnen

Hey mensen, kan het kloppen dat de bovenstaande versies van Swype nog niet verenigbaar zijn met de HTC Sensation? Heb ze namelijk allemaal geprobeerd, maar geen van allen werkt.
